How is it fantasy when it was such a close fight to begin with and bernard dropped joe then almost dropped him again in the seventh round. Each and every round hopkins landed the harder and better placed shots so you saying it would be the same fight is like saying hopkins didnt learn anything from the first fight. I believe he did and he will exploit the weaknesses in calzaghes game. Bernard is one of the best fighters at doing rematch's so i exspect it do be a little more entertaining

The fantasy is that people expect Hopkins to actually beat up Joe in a similar fashion that he beat Kelly .The rematch will be just as ugly as the first ..I mean look at the two Jermain Taylor fights was the rematch that much diffrent than the first ? Joe's style and Hopkins style equal a receipe for a boring and ugly fight ..If they fight 100 times a fight betwen these 2 will look the same ! And I would still give Joe thye edge because he can still outwork Hopkins ..

Bernard was not the same fighter in the second jermain fight he actually came forward but remember jermain was a different fighter too. Jermain talked as if he was going to run through hops but truthfully he wanted hopkins to come to him. It wasnt boring because of hops the second time around jermain was very fearful and just used his athleticism to when rounds(not clean punching). Hops won the second fight much easier then the first fight just based on round by round activity and landed power shots. Calzaghe is a come forward fighter and he will not back up by no means (but taylor will) so if hopkins comes in the fight with a new game plan based on how calzaghe has fought throughout his career i dont think calzaghe willbe able to adapt to going backwards if he was forced to like roy jones did to griffin in the second fight. Roy fought the wrong fight against griffin but knew how to fight him the second fight based on what he had learned the first fight. Bernard is way smarter then roy so dont think hops aint got a plan B!!!!!

bloody hell are you kidding me? did you miss the years of **** talking, the will they won't they fight? the failure to come to an agreement on a financial deal between hopkins and jones?

The 2nd fight with JT was boring because of the same things in the first fight Hopkins was trying time JT ..It was too much respect in the 2nd fight ..Do you hoenstly think that Joe who happened to be dropped in the 2nd rd of their fight won't be overly cautious until the later rds ?

It be more of the same..And if they are allowed to box with no clinching Hopkins will gt outworked all day ! Hopkins and Jones as far as rings smarts are about the same where they differ is the the fundimentals ..

Hopkins is a much more technically sound than Jones this is why he can still fight at such a high level past 40 ! But a rematch with Calzaghe and Hopkins mark my words will be a snooze fest ..Hell look at Hopkins fighst with Allen 3 times **** outside of the one KO all the fights were pretty much the same !
