To even take this into consideration is stupid, Most people wont even read this article to be honest... there's no need to.

All of those fighters were still moving-up in weight (which is what I said originally, had you bothered to read my post). However, you are correct, Glen Johnson is a good win for B-Hop.

But looking at the weights of the fighters...or the natural size of the fighters...weight was not an issue in ANY of the wins.

Again, how do you feel about Hagler and his wins over Duran and Hearns? Duran was an ATG LW...who lost at MW to Hagler. Hearns was an ATG WW...who lost at MW to Hagler. Same could be said by taking the names out and adding in Oscar, Tito and Hopkins.

Hagler V Duran is remembered as more of an achievment for Duran than it was Hagler, Marvin had much better wins. But saying that Duran was a better fighter than De La Hoya and a more comfortable middleweight.

Tho I agree that Duran gained more from a historical standpoint by being so tough in this fight, the general consensus is that Hearns, Mugabi and Duran are Hagler's top three wins (or Leonard, depending on who you feel deserved the W there.). Out of curiousity, what wins do you consider MUCH better than Duran?

Yes, you have a valid point regarding Hagler's wins over Duran and Hearns. Though, in the case of Hearns, I will point out that Tommy had been a MW for about 4 years before the Hagler fight.

Yep, but the most ******ed aspect came at the top when he stated he felt that "Calzaghe is a better fighter" when we got to see head to head how painfully obvious it was that Hopkins is clearly the superior talent.

He went up and down really...but you also have to point out that he fought NOONE of note at MW before Hagler. Hearns opponents at 160 before Hagler werent anywhere in the class of a William Joppy or a Felix Sturm.

Alan Minter, Antefermo and Hamsho were better middleweights than Mugabi, though I agree Mugabi was a better win than Duran at 160 as well.

Hagler lost fairly to Leonard imo.
