    its a non title fight and anthems are not needed.

    That's disappointing, would have loved to have heard a bit of 'Land of my Fathers' in Vegas. However, if Cortez was influenced by the idiots who booed at the Mayweather Hatton bout, it's better to be safe than sorry, unfortunately...

    no national anthems is probably a good idea in joes favour. like joe says we dont want **** off cortez that must have bothered him before the hatton/pbf fight!

    Personally I think the Booing of the Anthems is a totally pathetic thing to do and something the Brits are worse for doing than our US counterparts.

    I was at the Kessler fight when the Danish anthem was Booed so for people to suggest Hatton fans would but the Welsh wouldn't is plain wrong.

    As if the crowd aren't gonna boo in disgust, or even sing on their own without the band.

    That said, booing during national anthems are acts of disrepect and idiocy. I rather see the persons in question be banned from venues for a couple of years.

    It's quite ironic that they are billing this as 'Battle Of The Planet' and building up as GB vs USA and now there's no bloody anthems !!
