Calzaghe is bullsh*tter.... it was about the money....

I respect his achievements.... but i don't like the fact he isn't taking on Hopkins....again.

The first fight was too close to call and could've gone the other way and Calzaghe knows it. Other warriors in the past wouldn't let go....

A warrior can believe he beat a guy and think that is the end of the story. If a guy thinks he clearly beat a guy, and a majority of boxing fans agree he won close but clear, AND that other guy fought an embarassing fight in the championship rounds, I have no problem at all with the winner not wanting a rematch. Joe's career is over. Move on.

Is this a joke. There is even a you tube clip of him on the phone, about a year ago, to Froch saying all that matters is the money.

Why on earth would he fight Jones if it wasn't just for the money?

There are several quotes clearly indicating it has only ever been about the money for him. Watch the press conference after the Jones fight he pretty much says as much.

Even back in 2003 he said it was about the money...

"I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown jewels I wouldn't want to risk it."

    Joe Calzaghe 2003

Joe really does come out with some junk sometimes.

BHop is a different fighter at LHW than at MW at this point in his carrer. He is better at 175 where he does not have to cut as much weight. When you are 6'1" and over 40 it can be tough making 160. Even for Hopkins.

:patschSo why is he not fighting Chad Dawson?! He is the 2nd best light-heavy out there!! IMO he lost to the best light-heavy(B-hop) and beat a shot to death Roy...this guy is a fraud!! If you aint 40+ years old or a overrated SUPER-bum its not worth his time...im glad he's retired!!
