my top 10 joe calslappy enzo mac gary lockett bradley price golota enzo calslappy ????????? ???????? ???????? ??????
How People have him above Duran, Sugar Ray leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Ali, Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson and many other all time legends not greats I could hardley make a place for him within the top 20
Ludricrous. Here's ten above him without even thinking about it (in no particular order): Louis, Robinson, Armstrong, Ali, Pep, Jones jr, Moore, Marciano, Lewis, Charles.
.....The guy was talented and definitley in regards to his skills and talent one of the best in boxing but top 10 in terms of his legacy? Not even close brah.....Joe's career/legacy are filled with "What could've and what Should've been". All the skills, talent and opportunity in the world but lacked the DRIVE and ambition of a talent like his. he was for the most part Complacent during his best years and only got the itch to PROVE himself when he was close to on his way out! The nice shiney "0" that looks so good is all but window dressing. His best win was against Nard....@ 44 yrs of age. Still impressive but Joe should have had more career defining fights and a **** load more substance when speaking on his career and accomplishments.
He might be one of the top 10 all-time WBO super middleweight champions. But if Joe is a top 10 all time boxer then I'm in the top 50 with zero professional fights, or well amateur for that matter. Hey I'm 3-1 in bar fights, I should fight Corey Williams!
I agree, and his "best win" is also up for debate on whether he won the fight or not. When your best win is suspect against a 44yo fighter that doesn't lend much to legacy.
fighters greater than joe c NOT IN ANY ORDER! robinson ali foreman leonard hagler hearns hopkins jones jr willie pep marciano mayweather jr morales lamotta frazier chavez sr jack dempsey joe louis henry armstrong and those are all off the top of my head..theres probably an additional 80 more!! Hes definitley hof and a top 100 in most books..
