Calzaghe in the tournament..

This tournament will take over 18 months to complete. I worry that both Calzaghe would show his age as it went on.

Calzaghe would have to fight dangerous opposition away from home, he almost lost trying to do that with a GRANDAD do u honestly think hed do that here??????

If OP edits, I have no problem with conjectural/fantasy discussion. Although as OP said, probably belongs in Classic as Joe is not an active fighter. :yep

 

I did like "Tom Jones" being included in the keywords in the OP.

 

Calzaghe already effectively unified the SMW titles by being the WBO champ, beating the IBF champ in Lacy, and then beating the WBC/WBA champ in Kessler. The sanctioning bodies make it next to impossible to avoid being stripped in that scenario, however. He was "the man" by conducting his own "tournament." He beat the guys that beat the guys.

Now he's retired so let it go. If anything, he's a light heavyweight now anyway.

I think he beats all of the guys pretty convincingly but has his closest fight with kessler again with probably a SD win
