I don't know if he'll get him down, but I have a feeling he's going to stun him.

highly probable, but not a very big accomplishment in a 12 round unification fight.

The only thing he will rock is he's chair, when he's not able to come out for round 8

Joe's slapping gets mentioned a lot, but still. Joe is very accurate and throws a zillion punches. Even a tough guy like Kessler can get rocked by 500 slaps.

If he throws a zillion punches accurate, Kessler will be finished you are right, but if he only land half a zillion not very accurate slaps he'll be in for trouble!

Enzo Calzaghe says Kessler's gonna be finished in 6 rounds if Joe fights like he's been training.

This fight will be much more one-sided than people imagine. I would not at all be surprised if Calzaghe stops him late.

    He's far from basic Black.

    - He's very quick, has phenominal timing, had a tight defence, has great fundamentals all the way through and is possibly the best euro-boxer style that I've ever seen.

By euro-boxer, I mean the stand up style boxer-puncher. Kessler's a great fighter, nothing basic about him. Basic would be Kelly Pavlik.

Regardless, he's going to get Lacyed.:D Because Calzaghe is ****ING SUPERNATURAL!:D:D

No, I believe he's a special fighter, better than any euro-stand up I've seen and I mean this. If he were to beat Calzaghe, I'd be sad that Calzaghe lost but I'd also be pleased that a new awesome european fighter is available to go up against the best in the world and give us class matches.

What a lot of boxing fans don't realise is that are different levels of brilliance, Kessler is only 'flashy' to really, really hardcore observers of the sport. The way he perfectly times combinations of the jab is an absolute thing of beauty and then his subtle movements and the way he's picking guys apart methodically, it's amazing, it's like a match problem.

Carlos Monzon never looked flashy, but he'd stylistically be doing things that would look ordinary to the naked eye or the casual fan, but in reality they were tactical brilliance. Personally, every Kessler bout I've seen, he's only showcased 'a few' flaws and has done everything else nearly perfect, which is rare.

There is nothing ordinary about him, he's so fluid within a rigid style, his hands are so fast and when mixed with his precise timing and great footwork, he makes for an incredible fighter to watch if you're into studying the finer elements of boxing.

    .......

The only reason he's going to lose to Calzaghe is due to an extreme stylistic disadvantage that I don't believe he has the ability to overcome, but I easily feel that Kessler will pound every other SMW-LHW into absolute submission if he doesn't get ruined from the massacre he's about to recieve.

    Understand a bit better?:think

I see the same in Kessler - he may loose against Calzaghe, although not by massacre.

Kessler is going to throw that right hand again and again and again and a few of these will hit Joe clean. question is if Joe's excellent chin doesnt notice or if he will be affected by it. Ive never seen Joe fighting on the backfoot because he is hurt - he only ever comes forward. And Kessler has extreme timing.

    Its gonna be FOTY 07.:deal
