I partially agree. U know that Joe moves like a madman and i think that Kessler will throw the straight right, right cross, overhand right quite alot. Some of these will make the target - its only in theory that the single overhand right is the only punch working:deal I would like to add that Kessler is going to throw this punch - he has been studying the Reid fight as well. If Kessler gets in trouble and hurt I think that he may change gameplan into something Bika like. This fight will show how Kessler can adapt.
Jermain Taylor almost had Pavlik stopped, Kessler is 2-3 levels above the flawed Jermain Taylor. Give me a break and start studying about boxing a little more if you think Pavlik has a chance in hell. Kessler in 5 rounds.
No - Joe wont run. I agree. But if he gets tagged and continues to come forward Kessler may very well have the patience and especially timing to make things worse.
And he is normally wide open and wild swinging when he is doing the "go-go macho dance". E.g. in the Sheika and Mitchell fights. This can work against lesser talented opponents, but I wouldn't advise Joe to going into "go-go-mode" against Kessler.....:toney
This is my point entirely. Calzaghe may've gotten away with vailiantly flailing back when caught by guys like Mitchell and Sheika but one feels that Kessler would exploit Joe's open defence in this type of situation.
Nope. Hes hardly ever been touched. Interesting to see if Joe can get to him and land something powerfull.
Both guy's will be on their feet at the end no KO here. Joe C will win a decision, he's damn a good boxer to lose to Kesseler..:deal
I wouldn't be surpsied if Joe stunned Kessler on a few occasions. I wouldn't be surprised to see it the other way around. Both have the speed and the snap to do that to you. This should be a competitive fight. Maybe I'm wrong and Calzaghe will thrash Mikkel, but I just don't see it. However, what I do see is Calzaghe winning a clear decision.
