Calzaghe is going to rock and wobble Kessler.

But he is not fighting Kesseler or some other nobody. This time he will fight the only unified champion in his division, and that guys name is Kessler!

 

If Calzaghe wins a clear and fair decision, then I will be satisfied. Then Calzaghe is the true ruler of SMW and deserves respect.

They both have the power to stun each other no doubt, however, I believe Kess can do it from a slightly greater distance because of his more straight punching style. What the Kess fan can fear is that JC can chase him down when he withdraws after throwing his punches, and this way get in close where JC is most dangerous. IMO a key point to the outcome of this fight is how they match up in terms of speed of movement. If JC is indeed that much faster, as some here claims, MK is in for big problems as he cannot get JC off him. Come 3rd Nov we'll see if MK prepared some clever defensive steps to avoid this problem. To think that MK can avoid it by moving steadily forward as in some of his earlier fights is Kess fan wishful thinking.

 

Well we don't have to relay on a genius in the corner, we'll have the genius in the ring!

 

I also think Calz will hurt Kessler in this fight. I'm not sure if he'll put him down or out, but I do think he is going to really buzz MK.

Kessler has chances close to none of beating Calzaghe to the punch with that one-two combination, stiff jab and right hand down the pipe, as the aggressor comes in, exploring angles and unleashing much faster curved punches, I have no doubts about that... I believe that Joe can rock Mikkel very early but he should avoid getting spent too, no way the straight-up, patient Dan out-speeds Joe but he can make it extremelly difficult to get in.

But Mikkel just stands up there and waits patiently to pump the sharp jab and combine it with the straight right, he doesn't move his body since he's so heavily built, just controls the distance with his feet. I didn't check as yet if Joe comes in wide open but he certainly he's not a static target like Beyer for Kessler throw that right down the pipe. I will check on that still cause you mentioned it, PeterNielsen70, but seems to me he just comes too fast so that Mikkel can do anything at all but take it and if he's gonna take more than give, we all can conclude Joe wins the fight or am I wrong?

 

A curved punched like from Joe always hits Mikkel's face first than the other way around and considering the sharp and fast jab the Dan possesses.
