He weighed in 156 or close when he fought ODH and bragged saying he did it to scare the 154lb division, yet he was weight drained to make 160 to fight Taylor according to you.

Since you have recently just discovered the sport of boxing in the last 2 months, i'll try again after each comemnt to educate you, so thanks for the invite junior :good

The worst possible thing that could happen is Calzaghe winning 12 rounds, and Hopkins spoiling them all. Calzaghe 120-108. Hopkins isn't capable of that really though.

Actually that is as wrong as you could be.
They didnt offer Hopkins a certain amount at all, Frank Warren asked how much Hopkins would want to fight Calzaghe. Hopkins` reps reply was $3 million and the fight take place in America, there and then they agreed.
2 days later the same reps for Hopkins came out with a new demand $6 million to fight Calzaghe. So Hopkins had no desire to fight Calzaghe at that time.

There is your research and same here i also hate it when posters read or hear one thing and take it as gospel:p

And people give Calzaghe **** for taking on Hopkins. :yep

I think Hopkins will give Joe a real run for his money. I don't expect him to fruitlessy chase Hopkins around the ring like Woods chased the milk dud. It will be a more competitive fight than that. My money is on Calzaghe to win on points with a few scary moments along the way.

Yeah no way Hopkins just walks him down without trying to cut off the ring. In fact I see Hopkins on the back foot most of the night luring Calzaghe in and tatooing him with counter rights and maybe even a few mid range uppercuts for good measure.

    Hopkins UD. :happy

I guess you didn't see his last fight.

Joe has no power and if he tries to apply some he knows his hands are fragile

I think this could be one of the fights of the year and Hopkins gotta bring his A game after all the build up. I think it could be rough with a lot of fouling and holding. We'll see what Joe is made of this weekend against a tough customer like Hopkins in the other guy's backyard for a change.

Then you're still underestimating how naturally talented Calzaghe is. For all of BHops abilities, he has to work harder mentally and physically.

Calazghe wins by KO late in the fight, this fight wont even be close. We will witness the death of a legend. Hop, you should have retired after Tarver.
