this thread is hillarious purely for the simple fact of how badly has gotten under your skins soldier has always toe to toe'd with bailey like a warrior and is good value :bbb imperial is a blinded fanboy who makes zero worthwhile posts but will defend roy jones on his deathbed :deal zod is a top class poster but has been drawn into resorting to pettiness in his debating which takes away from his usual high credibility rating :blood louden is a gent and scholar who was always a little bias because of his man love for roy but who has now resorted to trolling and baiting :rofl balletpoof is just an elter ego *** who i am toying with and will expose at anytime i choose :tong whilst berol gee is the most dedicated troll calzaghe hater since dinamita/popkins/pacfan/roskolnikov/kittikasem/brian with an amazing 94.7% of his 800 posts spent hating on calzaghe :hi: its pure comedy gold :rofl
Head, How's it going? Haha! Great post! I'm not a little biased, I'm very biased ha! Roy's my boy, and I've got to defend him ha! I've resorted to baiting because I've gone past the point of trying to have an intelligent debate using logic and facts. I sent Bailey a response last week, and he didn't even bother to read it, because apparently it was too long. He must get a bad headache after reading a few paragraphs. Regards, Loudon.
1. Calzaghe was defending a title but was willing to go up if the fight could be made. Jones also said he wanted to move down. Did Otis Grant the WBO MW champ who was far less established do anything to warrant that fight or do more than Calzaghe. No far less but Jones fought him 2. Calzaghe didnt refuse to fight Jones or Hopkins in America, he agreed so that is untrue 3. Wanted good money for a top fight, but I doubt that is any different to the 10 mil Jones wanted to fight Calzaghe or the 6 mil Hopkins upped his demand to 4. Fought on the Tyson undercard which was on American TV 5. HBO were not a factor in the UK, Showtime were. Dont see that as any real surprise. In fact back in 2000, I cant recall any fighter except maybe Lewis who had a different promoter who may have been with HBO. What do you recall of fighters based in Britain boxing for HBO back in 2000 Zod. Which ones?
Ive asked you to quote sentences Loudon, to break down points to debate with. Why cant you just do that? I said I will explain to you if you dont know how to do it, though you may force more self pwnage by doing so
Why the **** would I break down a sentence to someone, who wasn't even willing to read it? If you were busy etc, no problem, but you admitted that you couldn't even be bothered to read it, so there's no point me wasting my time. Stop embarrassing yourself by saying that you've pawned me and other posters. You have been ANNIHILATED in this thread!
I now understand Bailey better from that post of his. Man, I wish I'd realised all this earlier. In Baileyworld, when Bailey gets annihilated, it means to him that he has countered all your points. That explains why he keeps writing 'schooled you' and 'pwned you' when he loses arguments. He sees things topsyturvy to us, so to him, losing and getting beat down, or being cowardly is for him a 'great win'. This must also explain why he keeps writing 'Great win for Calzaghe' when hes talking about a welsh ref stoppage against a nobody bum that Calzaghe fought. He really means' **** easy victory versus eurobum'. You just have to translate.
Otis Grant moved up to Roy's weight class. Otis Grant was happy with the purse he got paid. Otis Grant was Canadian, who'd fought in America a number of times. When will you get this? Kelly, Grant, Harmon, Frazier etc, etc, were all bums, that weren't even half as good as Joe. BUT They were ranked in Roy's weight class, they fought in Roy's Country, and they were happy with the purse split. Also most of them were mandotaries. Joe Calzaghe was not ranked in Roy's weight class, because he fought at 168. Joe Calzaghe was never a mandotary, because he fought at 168. Joe Calzaghe refused to fight in Roy's country. Joe Calzaghe wanted the crown jewels. Do you understand any of the above??? A fight with Grant and the others, were easy fights to make. A fight with Joe was hard to make. He fought in another country, at a different weight class, nobody in the U.S. had seen him fight, and he wanted huge money. The fight was a complete no go. Stop comparing the bums Roy fought to Joe. It's nothing to do with their abilites as fighters. Otis Grant was prepared to do things that Joe wasn't. That's why he got the fight. It really is that simple!
Loudon, its topsy turvy syndrome. Baileys got topsy turvy syndrome. He reverses the meaning of words he uses. Like that gag in The Dictator, where the meaning of key words is reversed, so 'I am afraid to tell you you've got cancer' really means 'You've won the lottery!
Haha! He's been destroyed, yet here we are, at 25 pages. He'd tell you that black was white, and he'd convince himself Ha! He's relentless. He's a T1000. He's wasted on here. He could turn to a life of crime. He'd never get convicted. The judge would have to throw out the case, because in the end, it would just be easier on everyone. Ha! Everyone in court would be absolutely exhausted! "We have 5 witnesses that have all seen you on the day in question, and we have all of their statements." Bailey "Yes but have they got any actual video evidence of me?" The judge would be forced to knock himself out with his hammer. Ha!
So now by not changing his network, he avoiding Jones? atsch If you get an offer to fight on HBO, then you simply don't renew your contract to fight on Showtime. Joe was hardly the face of showtime boxing like Tyson was. Look at Ward, was fighting on showtime last year, now he's facing Dawson on HBO, why? Because he was made an offer. By the way Zod, weren't you the guy who stated Ricky Hatton gets no credit for beating Tszyu because you didn't like his tactics? atsch
