yeah Bailey likes to consider Calzaghe the lineal SMW champ for his entire reign too, in spite of him taking the title the most wothless title and holding onto it alone for 10 years. 'ohhhhh but Manny Pacman was WBO champ too once' says Bailey. Comparing a multititle multiweight ATG with Joe Calzaghe, shut the **** up Bailey. Just SHUT IT.
define irony - when KO artist is complaining that a person is posting boring tripe is actually complaining about boring tripe posted by his friend.
yet you continue your irony. perhaps you have trouble with that the meaning of the word? regardless, please continue this route, its no problem for me.
atsch Wow you boys are going to have to stop, you're too much for me atsch What a sad bunch of twats who cant counter one single debate
An old post where odd bits have changed but you get the idea Where you have written for the WBO vs limited competition. I just wanted to highlight some details to you. The SMW divisions first world champs were WBC 1988, WBA 1987, IBF 1984 & WBO 1988. Now for a start it is a new division so no belt has any more prestige than the other as they were all started at a similar time. So the WBO SMW title has no less prestige than the others. Consider also that the WBO at SMW has been involved in 4 unification bouts. The IBF has been involved in 2 The WBA in 3 WBC in 4 also This shows that the WBO has been as willing to make top fights at SMW as much as any other governing body. Now look at the list of champs in each and who they defended against and you can see that the WBO SMW title has produced the best defences overall better than all of the other govening bodies in this particular weight division so far. Consider how much critism Bute gets now for his IBF defences. Consider M Beyer defending his WBC title against 26-14-5 fighter who was coming off of a win against a 0-2-0 fighter Or that Mundine when defending the WBA title against a 24-13-5 fighter who was the same fighter that WBC champ Beyer was defending against above. ------------------------------------------------------------ The belts were the same age so neither had any more prestige than any other and remember that Ottke who wouldnt fight Calzaghe has around 6 common opponents to him, so the defences sound similar Only Calzaghe as well as having the names Brewer and Mitchell also had Eubank, Kessler and Lacy :hi:
Mind Reader you shouldnt make up lies. Here is the other post where you are trying to bend the truth from You consider Hopkins the #1 LHW, because he beat Tarver who beat Jones, but don't consider Erdei, who beat Gonzalez who beat DM... See the holes?? Oh yeah, Calzaghe is involved http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=418939&page=12 Proof :good
