Exact same as me, Benn was one of my faves when I was a youngster and I always prefered him to Eubank, who was a posey, cocky twat. Benn just attempted to do the biz with no fuss or glitz.

Ps: Depite Eubank having the edge their meetings I still rate 'Nige higher as a fighter and one I still prefer. My respect for Eubank increased, though when I realized he has a soft spot for the mighty Mag's. ;) :yep

On just resume alone there is a case for Benn being above Calzaghe, it's certainly debatable

    Calzaghe
    Jones
    Eubank
    Watson
    Benn
    Collins

Think Calzaghe would have found a way to beat RJJ he always does,,,think he is just to tough for a prime RJJ who lacks heart!!

That might be true, but Jones I think would sneak it because he would probably be faster than JC.

Totally agree, for me 1-4 are very close, but that is the right order......collins is a far 5. Good fighter but not in the same league as the 4 above.

    Jones
    Benn
    Calzaghe
    Eubank
    Collins

Jones by some way I think and also I would put Benn Higher than Calzaghe.

When Benn fought a top guy, they were not in their late 30's or early 40's.

Jones &Toney were good domestic fighters but did not prove themselves in the UK.

Going on resume alone there is a fair case to put Benn no 1.

I didn't see Roy Jones name in there. I though it was just a list of Brits.
