I just rang foxtel.

Setana is on 510, yeah you get the fight for free if you join this month so thats why i got it.

 

Really? I rang Setana direct. If I went via Foxtel, it is cheaper? I am being charged $15 a month

 

Is this for cable subscribers?

 

yeah mate, i got in the mail a offer from austar/foxtel, join strait away and pay $6 a month and get the kessler fight for free, maybe its because im with austar and in tassie. dont know.

Well i didnt ring setanta direct, maybe call foxtel and asK them mate, you might be able to save some cash.

 

No disrespect to you or anyone else but what's really the difference between $6 and $15? The Difference is what, a subway sandwich?

Mate, now i really don't understand, you're prepared to spend all that money to get a million channels i know you wouldn't have time to watch, **** like MTV, E!, etc. and then a $9 difference means something? You're already getting a $15 superfight, but no that's too much, i want it for $6. Crazy i tells ya!!

today I called Setanta's 1300 number in sydney and all but signed up using a credit card until I realised their was insufficient funds in my account. Silly me.

Anyway, the girl was very polite and gave me a customer ref number so I can call back once I sort out my account.

So...I get home today, flick on foxtel and go to the setanta channel (525) and I'm watching some euro soccer game. I scroll through the time slot and it appears I have this channel already up and running???

Can anyone tell me if this is normal for all foxtel customers?...i mean, does everyone get the Setanta channel for free and the Kessler fight is a separate fee?...just like a fox ppv is on top of the regular bill.

I'm confused, basically, i just want to know whether I need to call them back as it MAYBE that I already have the Setanta channel...but will i get the Kessler fight on sunday??? that's my dilemma.

 

well it is not just for me, but also for the speaker of the house. of course i pay for the whole thing atsch

but no all good, i certainly didn't hesitate to sign up, but hey if u can get something cheaper
