Yes me thinks Mr China hand Joe has lost the plot :!:

You could be right in your prediction in which case it's the end of Calzaghe's career and the end of an era :-(

You really think Kessler will TKO Calzaghe though? Joe's never been close to being stopped, and Kessler failed to TKO Andrade despite hitting him with his best combos.

Andrade has a granite chin, yes. But so does Calzaghe. And Calzaghe is gonna be much harder to hit with those combos :deal

I think we will see a war, two superb champions going at eachother like a ****-fight, head to head.. ala press conference / weigh in :yep
Kessler has those advantages and very very fast and powerful hands.
It could go the distance, but I doubt it.. they look ready and they both looks like they want to decapitate eachother.
Possibly the best SMW fight ever, including the Benn - McClellan affair. Don't miss it

It isn't a coincidence, I ocassionally pick fights on it. It can be very reliable.

They have good genes it shows in their faces.

Also, physical health comes into it. The healthier they are the better they look.

good face = (likely) solid all round genes + good health

It was infact the basis of my confident pick of Colin Lynes over Young Muttley. Also someone with a name like Young Muttley is liable to have poor genes.

Joe looks drained....his neck looks scrawny.

Other than that, both look like they are in excellent shape!

If Calzaghe does do Kessler with his 'slaps' then it ain't saying much for Kessler. So, what you're saying is that if JC wins then MK really is a pile of horse****? Beaten by a 35 year old slapper!

  12. A lot of people on this board talk like joe is an old man:nono he's only 35 he just looks a little older because he's losing his hair, **** Bernard Hopkins is 42 and he's still kicking ass,...:deal
Calzaghe looks very confident in these pics, he's got the speed the experience and the homecrowd behind him, the wind is at his back...

    CALZAGHE BY UD!!!!!!!!!!!:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:amen

Because people are gay, they think a haircut will help you win a fight. (Some people lose their hair in their 20s or 30s.. it's natural)
Unless you're Lennox Lewis with super rasta dreadlocks, I'd say no. :huh

    Indeed

I must say my heart more than my head says Calzaghe wins

I honestly do think Joe has lost a little since his prime from say 1997 to 2003...Lacy was just made to order for him...footwork wise i might even give Kessler the edge...and it something i think will be vital in the fight...another thing is i don;t think Calzaghe will get away with hitting and holding against Kessler...whilst lacy loooked bewildered when joe grabbed him with his right arm and smacked him about with his left i have a feeling Kessler will nip this tactic in the bud very quickly...

still i think the fight will be close...and i think they might give it to Calzaghe on a dodgy decision...

4/1 at some bookies on Kessler on points though
