beat the **** out of him? Are we talking about the same fight? It was a close fight. Calzaghe got the decision but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have a rematch.
I dont know why some people talk about some fight that'll never happen. Why the hell would calzaghe fight Kessler again? for what? stupid..
Kesseler was never in the fight and actually looked discouraged and ready to just say the hell with it after the 9th round, he couldn't hurt Joe and he knew it, i can't believe some people on this board actually thought it was a close fight:-(
who has frotch beaten who is world class? come to think of it who has frotch be in the ring who is world class??? kessler would beat frotch to pieces
So TRUEBELIEVER, do you think your point of view is reflected in the judges verdict? (Remember, jugdes were entirely picked by the Warren camp.) If so, I think we have a brand new definition of what is meant by "....beat the **** out of him....".
Fair enough. Point taken. I see where you are coming from. I disagree w.r.t opposition but that's just a matter of taste.
Being Joe`s hardest fight he has had to date there is no way Joe wants a rematch, no way. Kessler would now have some knowledge on how to fight Joe after going 12 rounds with him. Kessler hits real hard, knockout punches both hands. Kessler is the hungry challenger again with a bit more determination than last time out. Joe certainly would not get any thing out of it by agreeing to a rematch. Even tho Hopkins is now become a joke to fight.
While I agree mate:good Your going to ruffle some feathers. Even though I'm a fan of Joe it's hard to ignore this sad fact of Joes career even his huggers must take this into consideration...
While I like Calzaghe, your point, along with his lack of hard fights abroad is what looks less satisfying on JCs resume. On the other hand I find JCs choices very smart from a business point of view. It could very well be some of the reason why he shows so little rust at this point of his career. Also, he still have time left to add maybe two rematches and win two hard fights abroad. It'll be really interesting to see if he can silence his critics totally in the next 1-2 years and cement a spot as a consensus ATG!!!!
