What a performance calzaghe showed. He gave one of the biggest boxing lessons ive ever seen to a "star" fighter who was picked to beat him. This dominating win is probably one of the best of the decade. Whats your thoughts on the fight?

    Hopkins-Tito was better.

One of the biggest 12 round beat downs you will ever see in a world title fight.

To this day I can't believe that Lacy wasn't pulled out by his corner or wasn't stopped by the ref.

    It was a staggering performance

    NO ONE expected it

just really added fuel to the fire - why the hell did Joe not take up big challenges more often and fight up to that level?

Calzaghe was an enigma if ever there was one

that is what happens when one fighter sucks and the other doesn't. lacy is walking punching bag, that really wasn't that good of a fight.

great performance, one of the best of the decade but yes, hopkins-trinidad was better. as was morales-pac 1, forrest-mosley 1, mayweather-gatti, and pac-hatton based on the quality of the opposition

    I like Hopkins-Pavlik more

atleast Tito arguably won a round, Pavlik didnt win ****

But Tito was arguably the best fighter in the world at the time and most observers didnt gave Hopkins much of a chance and those who did said he had to make it a rough and dirty fight to win but he did the opposite and put on a boxing display for the ages.

the fact that Lacy was the best Other fighter in the division is a evidence of how poor the supermiddle division has been for so long. then they come up with a joker like Kessler

    Hopkins - Tarver

    Hopkins - Pavlik

    Both are better.

I predicted Joe to beat lacy easily. those people who dubbed Jeff lacy as the new Tyson were basically blinded by American nationalism. it was clear for all to see by the end of the second round that joe was levels higher.
