Taylor - Gets robbery wins, never looks the same and develops glass jaw.

Wright - Loses to Hopkins, never wins another fight

Calzaghe - Gets SD win, gets floored by Shot jones next fight, then retires.

Pascal - Now struggling to make LHW at 5 ft 10.

Calzaghe may have made the best decision of his career by opting not to take on BHop in a rematch. Calzaghe was just 2 spots away to be considered p4p number 1, first time he was being recognised on the streets of Cardiff by the casuals, first time shop keepers were saying welcome and giving discounts because they found out who he really was, first time he was being offered multi millions by multiple opponents, first time he was being called out by fighters in 3 divisions. BHop has a history of ruining fighters as I have shown above, after BHop, Calzaghe looked like an amateur slapper, he was getting wobbled by a shot jones jr, floored by 40 year old men, and looking weak at LHW. Had he stuck around and taken challenges from a big puncher like Carl Froch, his chin would have been smashed especially in the UK.

Not saying Calzaghe had a glass jaw, but towards the end of his career where he was no longer in his comfort zone, his chin was getting shaky and BHop may be the cause of it.

 

Why is there so much controversy with Calzaghe? He retired undefeated, with 0 bull**** decisions, and he is the best SMW as of now.
