    well put. the way this fight is talked about on these boards, you'd think it won fight of the year. at the fight, i had joe winning 116-113. i have it recorded and tried to watch and score from home. i got through 2 rounds and decided i didn't want to waste my time anymore. i'll just stick with what i saw live.

    How on earth did Calzaghe win that fight?? He didn't throw 10 LEGITIMATE scoring punches all fight I saw two little schoolgirls fighting hit harder that Slappy:rofl:rofl

    I notice none of you Slappyholics offer any explanation why Slappy didn't rematch Nard in Wales. From the way you talk it would have been easy $$$$$

    Hopkins is going to expose Kovalev for the fraud he is. I'm sick of fighters like GGG and Kolalev getting compares to ATG's and they have not beat anyone. I place GGG and Kolalev on the same level as the hated Wilder. Yes they can punch but they have not been tested. On this forum GGG and Kovalev gets praise while Wilder gets bashed. It is always about race as sad as that is.

    true joe was busy, not very affective. btw, does anyone think joe would have ever stepped in the ring with this version of kovalev? :) i think we all know the answer. bhop takes on all comers.

    It was a good fight. Punchstat wise, Calzaghe did run away with it, but it looked and felt a lot closer, with Hopkins showing the better defense. And of course Hopkins put him down and cut him. A lot of people had Hopkins winning it on defense and effective aggression.

    I am very comfortable with the Calzaghe win but no one took anybody to school in that fight.
