    for Calzaghe

    Hopkins= most lucrative

    Dawson= further cement legacy

    i think if joe is ganna continue he should face Hopkins, i know the first fight wasn't great on the eye, but it was close, they hate eachother the promotion would be great and i think it would be a different fight the second time around as hopkins already having a look would have figured out what to do

    although many would like to see him face dawson it's just not lucrative enough as dawson can't draw fly's

    imagine the calzaghe/hopkins 24/7 :yep

    with calzaghe's stock rising after his masterclass against albeit a shot Roy and the history between the two i think it would do well at the box-office

    Man, I dont even believe that article. The sources didn't give any quotes. I believe this is what they think, but only what they think.

    Are you serious?

    Fight #1 was boring as ****...Worse than that...Millions of people watched it for free on HBO. You think casual fans who watched that fight borefest for free would pay $50 to see it again? Particularly in this economy? Would be shocked if it broke 300k unless the media hype somehow caught....

    I hope Calzaghe fights Chad Dawson at the Millenium Stadium, would be fantastic.

    And Floyd better hope and pray pacman beats Oscar.

    If Floyd faces Oscar or Hatton again, I GUARANTEE the #s do less than 1 million.

    The Media hype/excitement of a fight vs pacman would catch on (if pacman beats DLH)...Would be a legit superfight.

    Yeah, I agree that he could probably do the most numbers by fighting PacMan. I honestly believe everyone would buy this fight. A rematch with DLH & would sell, but it will do a little less than 2 mil IMO. A rematch with Hatton might be big, depending on how Hatton looks next fight.

    No point to those fights...Boxing fans are gullable, but another fight vs. Hatton? Cmon...No chance IMO.

    A fight w/ DLH is possible...It'd prolly do 500k-1 million buys. But it would do a lot worse than DLH or Floyd would think they would do.

    :good

    It's as if everyone forgot the first fight and how Calzaghe's pace and output was too much for Hopkins. It was a spoiling hugfest from Hopkins.
    People are pinning too many hopes on Hopkins fighting like he did against pavlik. Styles make fights and Pavlik is no Calzaghe.

    who do you suggest if calzaghe were to carry on?

    dawson? come on you know he's not even a household name in his own kitchen

    calzaghe would only be fighting for two things..money and marciano's record, with money being the priority hopkins rematch with all the publicity that comes with it is the only option

    No way, another DLH vs Floyd would definetely do at least a 1.5 mil.
    A rematch of Floyd vs Hatton would do at least 500k. It might not sound right off top, but imagine all the drama that could help these 2 fights sell. And PBF vs Pac would be a real dream match, it wouldnt even need a 24/7 or countdown or anything, it would sell.
