Nope. DLH-Mayweather did 2.4 million PPVs in first fight. This was the first boxing fight IN YEARS THAT HIT MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

It was a relatively lackluster fight which will decrease the # of buyers for the rematch...Also, the economy will weaken sales greatly. I'd expect 750k-1 million PPV buys. The event itself however will likely sell out as DLH/Mayweather are big name fighters....And big name people will want to be there.

I suggest Calzaghe takes 6-9 months off.

    Arthur Abraham
    Felix Sturm
    Chad Dawson
    Lucian Bute
    Dennis Inkin
    Carl Froch
    Jermain Taylor

AT LEAST ONE of these fighters will be top 10 p4p in 1 year...He should fight whoever has looked/done the best of these guys. Right now, none are worthy of fighting calzaghe.

The event will sell out, theres no doubt about that. Wouldnt surprise me if it sold out in less than an hour. But this fight will definetely be very hyped, lots of fans will wanna see it. Even if they feel the first fight was wack, those same ppl would pay to see this fight again. Add in all the drama and promotions, it wouldnt surprise me at all to see this fight do 2 mil.

As someone who wants to see Mayweather in great fights, facing the winner of either DLH-Pac or Hatton-Malagnaggi, are not particularly great fights......the likely winner of those fights are DLH and Hatton, leaving Mayweather fighting fighters he's already proven himself against.

Its really depressing to see a talent like Mayweather let it go to waist.
He's got a chance to be mentioned as a top 5 all-time, if he'd just fight great fighters he has'nt already fought.

Yes, I'm talking Margarito, Cotto, and even Paul Williams.

To be great, you prove yourself against different styles and Mayweather just is'nt doing that!

147 lbs is Mayweathers weight right now, and he just refuses to fight the best fighters there.
Thats truly sad for such a great talent to do that!:-(

Shut the **** up. He had a whole career at lower weights and already proved he could defeat different styles. And none of the above mentioned fighters have a different style other than Paul Williams.

If Floyd comes back for some legacy fights (which WILL come with the money believe me) then stuff like Floyd/Cotto, Floyd/Pac, Floyd/Margo, Floyd/Mosley and Floyd/JMM would all be fun to watch.

If he's coming back for another fight with Hatton or Oscar then just sit on the sidelines my man.
