Calzaghe more popular than Hatton?

    Only 4k british fans made the trip for the Hatton fight. 8K Calzaghe-supporters were in NY. Is Calzaghe now more popular because of his fresh looks and ppl finally realising Joe is by far the better boxer.

    P.S. In GB Paulie wouldn't even by a clubfighter. He is just 2 boring...

    I like both fighters, but went to New York as it is a much easier trip for us Brits than Vegas. Also thought this more likely to be Joe's last fight whereas Ricky has got at least one more fight left.

    Will be at Wembley next summer if that happens:cool:

    agree with that, just have to look at how many Hatton took out for Mayweather fight. Think it may be a lot of the Brits are getting bored with Vegas (if thats possible) and NY was a change, and a far shorter flight over.

    The downturn in the exchange rate hasn't helped either. I think we were getting over $1.5 to £1 when we were in the US for Joe's fight, its dropped even further now.

    Dropping a few quid in the Casinos in Vegas is probably a concern for some too as the temptation may prove too much
