apart from this he is actually quite good with rhetoric and has been known to "wax lyrical" with the silverest of tongues,so please overlook his latest diatribe i.e this thread because in fact He does write wonderful poetry, A lot of it is erotic and a lot of it is homoerotic. now We don't want to paint him as being gay, but he was confused and unsure about his sexuality. he didn't beat roy jones. period. he scraped by hopkins yes but that thing in the ring wasn't roy jones. i have to agree that toney was more skilled in the ring, but doesn't have the resume at 168 to match his talent. calzaghe is a good fighter and all, maybe even great but doesn't have the resume to back up his fans claims.

Dinamita has a boner for calzaghe the size of mount etna,hes honestly confused when it comes to joe,the guy sent me a p.m a month or 2 following the fight saying he thought calzaghe won but all i see him post nowadays is the opposite..

No offense dinamita but thats my take on the situation..

How is he overrated when he gets slated constantly by internet warriors?

You can do the same thing to many fighter's careers as people do to Calzaghe's. He was a great fighter, end of.

 

What i find hilarious is we are now meant to believe that after 35 years of boxing being beaten into the young jones he suddenly forgot it all against calzaghe but regained it in the pre and post calzaghe fight,as jones sr is now claiming...

Apparently the result would be different next time round.


People bleat on about resumes...whos lester yarborough,whos ricky stackhouse,whos percy harris for fecksake... Jone's leave's a lot to be desired too,say what you want about calzaghe but the guy would never have been starched by old man johnson and that rocky actor aka tarver,we really meant to believe that sparring with ruiz for 12 rounds and passing it off as the greatest thing since sliced bread elevates jones to demi-god status,****off!!!!!!

Harry greb did that for fun weekly,i can name a shitload of middleweights and lightheavies etc (past n present) that would have done the same to ruiz
