Boxing is where its at because of people like Joe and Mayweather.

If Mayweather would have fought Cotto, Calzaghe would have fought Pavlik, Dawson instead of Jones Jr than boxing would be alot better off.

Next thing you know Joe is going to call out Marvin Hagler.

Because most of them haven't bothered to read what he actually said before they start typing their replies.

well he's right about politics and diluted divisions killing boxing in an era with a legitimate contender (MMA) for fight dollars

Because nothing makes you cooler than pointing out spelling mistakes and minor grammatical errors.

I find your lack of boxing knowledge funnier.

Wasn't Eubank like 40 years old, retired and only had 2 weeks to train for the fight against Slappy? And he STILL took Joe to the LIMIT?

If a peak Joe C let a weak and feeble old man, who only had 2 weeks to train out of retirement, push him to the limit then I don't see much to brag about there. Matter of fact, if I was a Joe C fan I would be embarrassed.

Can you imagine if Hopkins had to dig down to get the decision over Simon Brown when he fought him? I don't know if I would be able to admit to anyone I was a fan of his, because they would throw that in my face every chance they get.

But Calzaghe fans are actually PROUD of that fight!:yep

    Strange.:-(

and hopkins had to throw himself round the ring holding his nuts in between head butting to try to buy a breather fighting bthe same guy your slagging off. probably not the best example to use.
as for week and feeble. eubank was 31. hardly past it. :patsch

What the hell are you talking about?

Hopkins in the same situation as Calzaghe v Eubanks, blew Simon Brown out the water with a 4th round KO. The fight wasn't even close. Bu Slappy was struggling against an old ass, retired fighter who only had 2 weeks to train.

Who the hell are you kidding, yourself maybe?:huh

the only person i saw struggling in that fight was hopkins.
and your talking about a eubank who always kept himself in top condition and was only 31. sorry to disappoint you but that is not old.
and how the **** can you compare eubank to simon brown anyway. eubank is in a different ball park.:patsch
