    Stupid, stupid fanboy checks boxrec, sees Tate's last fight was in June 2002, just makes up that he retired in June 2002 without even knowing **** about the situation at all.

    And lo and behold, his own favourite fighter was scheduled to fight Tate in... December 2002!

    Never mind the obvious fact that The Ring rankings are done MONTHLY, hence why you asked for the rankings in OCTOBER 2002...





    ...but you yourself posted that Thomas Tate pulled out of a fight in December 2002 at 2 weeks' notice...

    The annual rankings are done in May.

    I love JC but he cannot be top 10 p4p all time due to his level of competition. Not entirely his fault but facts are facts.

    Did he have the talent to be top 10 of all time? Definitely.

    Thank you for confirming my suspicions. We do not need to discuss this further.

    My final word is the 3 will be remembered like this:

    Hopkins
    Jones (closely together, opposite order if you put more emphasis on skillset.

    There are too many other boxers inbetween to mention joe in any representative fashion.
