and by the way i still think a prime calzaghe beats a prime rjj. joe was also shot when he fought rjj and was only a year or 2 younger. plus back then joe hit way way harder and also his hands were as quick as rjj. as the saying goes styles make fights and a volume power puncher (which calzaghe was then) with great hand speed who was quite elusive would give rjj fits at any stage of his career. let the hate roll in lol
this dude is a maths teacher and doesn't have a clue about boxing yet in this post he actually makes sense miracles do occur
and why is it an incrediable assumption.TG1? u think froch could beat calzaghe lol or a green ward could beat calzaghe? really?? or even the negative dirrell?? tell me why break down the reasons why calzaghe looses to all of them. the only fight in totally prepared to have odds stacked against him is the rjj prime for prime fight and rightfully so he would be the underdog
:yikes Hate?? No not hate. Sympathy I think is thr word because you're obviously in a mental institution if you think that
I pretty much agree, though he may not quite make top-30. There've been an awful lot of other great fighters. - Not sure how easy he'd have had it with Ward, though. that would have been a great fight. Froch would have been an easy UD, and Bute would have been gone in 3 rounds. Of course, I don't put Ali in the top 10, so what do I know?
Hopkins certainly wasn't shot. But he certainly wasn't at his peak physically nor was he able to keep up with Joe. It was a real good win for Joe...but not what a win over the 2002 version would have been. That being said....Eubank was practically shot.....had been inactive.....took the fight on short notice....had to boil down to smw. He had lost fights in the previous years and was obviously on the way out. He never won another fight.
yes im in a mental institution. how many times people have said that about people and bam, ur proven wrong. cant ever prove it obviously but i would have calzaghe as a live underdog and could see him winning on points if he didnt get koed by sumet he dont see. yes i must be absoulutly god dam stark raving bonkers. so is any one who ever thinks the less known, less entertaining fighter maybe less skillfull fighter could win. oh and history proves ur totally right the alis and the rjj and the tysons are totally invincible. infact if u look at rjj rexcord tht guy practically fought nobodies as well at that point in his career minus a green hopkins and a toney but he is the terminater so u no.
By your logic, if Hatton had retired before fighting Floyd he would be an ATG too This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected Learn boxing before you talk crap
Top 10 probably not. But he is the best SMW of all time. I'd give him top 25. Saying not top 50 = angry American or RJJ/B-Hop slappy.
RJJ In his prime Beats the crap out of Joe Im a Calzaghe fan I'm from Wales I've watched him is whole carrear You're talking s**t
Calzaghe fan whom literally just ripped on him the past few posts? Some countryman you are. The dude is a legend, admit it. It's hard to be the best, bar-none at your class and not be an ATG.
hit man fan thats cool if u think that n i dont mind getting stick for thinking the opposite. anyways i no what u said bout hatton isnt what i thinkat all because simply hatton wasnt very skillful a boxer whilst calzaghe was. its evident in watching fights. regardless.
