    Before he retires..... mainly so people will just stfu on these forums about who would win.

    I personally think it would be a great fight, with two real warriors in the ring anything can happen.

    I'm not exactly JC's fan . . . but you guys got to lay low on the guy. :yep

    In the scenario that he fights nd beats Pavlik, he MUST fight the next up and coming kid.

    Calzaghe has nothing left to prove, he doesn't need Pavlik and Pavlik is young and has an amazing career ahead of him, no need to face Joe who is simply too good for him at this point.

    i doubt calzaghe is fussed about the esb forum. imagine if he was a member. Darnel Wilson is in some people p4p top 10 just cos hes a member, where would they rank JC

    I actully agree with this , calzaghe must fight Pavlik n win to cement his legacy after a hopkins n jones win because in bewteen those fights pavlik will hve more degfences n become more popular n if joe calzaghe defeats jones n hopkins then fans would be cheering on a fight like that

    There will be two weight divisions between Calzaghe and Pavlik soon. Surely Chad Dawson is the more likely scenario.

    Entertaining. but joe still wins comfortably.

    i agree the fight should happen, after hopkins its the best fight out there.

    Joe must fight abou 8 guys. He must fight X, Y and Z and when he kick's their ass's he will have to fight A, B and C.

    Stylewise i think the most difficult fights for joe are Bute are maybe dawson..Id still pick joe to beat them though.

    Calzaghe is the best fighter in or around the 168 division.

    I would like nothing more than to see Pavlik wipe the smile off that slap happy mother ****ers face. However, I doubt this fight will ever happen. Calzaghe really doesn't need to fight anyone, his legacy is already cemented.

    Pavlik is not good enough to give Calzaghe a tough fight. I love 'em both, but there's a huge gap, and absolutely no reason Pavlik should go looking for Joe.
