    This is my whole point

The only 'confirmed' greats are those in the eyes of the American boxing media

To many of us, Hopkins is not a great for the reasons I have mentioned, and hence he needs Joe as much as Joe needs him. If by some miracle he beats Joe Calzaghe, a great fighter the same size, that will change. It's his tough luck for ducking years ago, that this is coming up again aged 67

However this 'confirmed great' won't even fight Joe. Don't be so ****ing obtuse by doubting whether he's ducking, he doubled the money years ago and is playing silly beggars again

The man who has beaten all the 'greats' in America is scared of little old Joe Calzaghe, from Wales

    ****ing clowns

Just to show I am not picking on the "Non-American fighters"

Here are Calzaghe's last 6 opponents:

Kessler (previously undefeated nobody who only fights on home turf)
Manfredo (concocted star from USA who never deserved a title shot)
    Bika (Decent fighter)
Lacy (Overrated American who showed himself to be one-dimensional)
    Ashira (Who? Complete bum)
    Veit (Who? Complete bum)

Here are Ricky Hatton's last 6 opponents:

Mayweather (P4P king, in his prime, at his prime weight, etc.)
Castillo (Over the hill and pretty much shot, but a warrior and great former champ)
    Urango (Decent up and comer)
Collazo (Tough fighter with difficult style, Championship caliber, legit contender)
Tszyu (Legitimate champ at his weight, thought to be one of the best P4P)

I like Ricky Hatton...AT LEAST HE FIGHTS PEOPLE WHO HAVE RESUMES. NOT BUMS HE CAN JUST EXPOSE AND BULLDOZE

Yes, Eubank was at the end of his career, because Joe beat him you dullard. He was still a top fighter, so don't start discrediting

Kessler is the best fighter he faced, obviously. A man that has barely dropped a round in his career, and is a good 7 years younger. Of course you'd say that Kessler has only fought bums, because his opponents do not have 'UNITED STATES' plastered across their passport. Infact the heavyweight division is also ****, because you don't have any fighters to speak of. Funny that

I know Joe isn't going to get any credit for what he's achieved at SMW in America. So he calls out Bor-nard the 'great', and gets shamelessly ducked. Can't win

What we shoud do is add Hopkins to Joe's record, a win by "Duckage"

Then roll on the Dawson's, or the Pavlik's if we want to go down the Hopkins route of fighting smaller men. That will get Joe some credit. At least they don't come across as pussies

"Mary Hopkins". How cute. Not. Obviously Calzaghe is trying to bait Hops.

Calzaghe is baiting Hopkins to fight him on his terms and that's not going to happen. We all saw what Joe's brother in-laws cousin from his mother's uncle's side did to Manfredo.

Hopkins legacy is sealed, he's a definite ATG, a win over Calzaghe won't do anything for him. BHops just doesn't need this fight! Let Calzaghe be judged with his shitty resume, a green overhyped American, an unproven Euro stiff, a shot ex-champ and 120 dalma.., ooops, tomato cans.

Ummmm...I don't care what country they are from...can't you get that through your head? However, I do care who they fought...Kessler fought nobodys...didn't he? Correct me if I am wrong please...

Newsflash...Dawson is not smaller than Calzaghe...and he is also very unproven at the top level. Pavlik is smaller, but he is also more experienced, and really is a big middleweight.

The point is, you judge me based upon me supposedly rooting harder for American fighters. I just gave your boy Hatton all the credit in the world.

I will do the same for Calzaghe when he fights someone. That's all...plain and simple. You want to tell me that all these assclown opponents he fought are stars in the UK? I know they aren't. I have many friends in England, Spain, Scotland, and all over Europe...Guess what, they never heard of any of those assclown fighters either?

I like Hatton, he fights the best (or seems to try to). I like Miguel Cotto. ****, I like Ricardo Mayorga, he doesn't turn down a challenge. But in my eyes, other than MAYBE with hopkins, CALZAGHE HASN'T LOOKED FOR THE BIG FIGHTS. HE HASN'T LOOKED TO TAKE RISKS. He has played it safe. He is your Dariusz Michalczewski haha.

That is pretty funny. Calzaghe has a good sense of humor.

I notice Americans dont like it when a Foreign fighter talks trash. But if it is Mayweather, Toney, RJJ , ETC. That is just they way they are, it is cool and promotion.

Calzaghe is 35...How many times did he seek out a REAL challenge? How many times did he look for a career defining fight?

I'll give you Hopkins...who else did he call out? who else is he trying to fight?

He wanted NO PART of Roy Jones a few short years ago. He wanted NO PART of Toney back then either, did he? Did he want anyone?

Remember 5 years ago, Calzaghe was nobody on a world stage...who was he calling out then to try to be "THE MAN"?

You lost all credibility when you gave Hatton credit for beating Juan Urango, and then said Kessler was a bum

If you can't see Kessler is a top fighter, you are beyond hope

I said Pavlik was smaller, and I'm quite aware Dawson is a LHW. Take it reading comprehension isn't your strong point

In my own mind I'm happy Bernard is such a chicken because like Hopkins himself I know it would be a one sided beating. I will be quite happy to see the great man end his career with easy wins over Woods and Dawson/Pavlik

    Happy days

Yes, Kessler is a top fighter in a shitty division after beating nobody to get the title of "Top Fighter"...happy now??? I mean are you for real? And even if you give him "Top Fighter" status, and you count Eubanks, and you count Lacy (which I don't agree with)....

CALZAGHE THEN WOULD HAVE FOUGHT 3 TOP FIGHTERS IN 44 FIGHTS....WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW STOP THE PRESSES, WE GOT AN ALL-TIME GREAT HERE.

Don't you see it? Real Champions fight other champions. And don't give me **** about Calzaghe not wanting smaller fighters...Calzaghe wants money. That's why he stays in the UK where he is the top draw, where he can get top dollar, and where he can make a fortune fighting bums...

Say what you want about Hopkins, Jones, Toney, Trinidad, DLH, EVEN VARGAS...THEY ALL HAVE HOF FIGHTERS ON THEIR RESUME, and in most cases, more than a few...

What does Calzaghe have??? Who has he taken a risk by fighting???

and why the hell is Kessler good? Because someone gave him a belt? or because some European newspaper told you he was? or because he has a good record? Please tell me.
