Calzaghe needs Hopkins more than Hopkins needs him

    Hopkins is in the top 5 of the greatest fighters of this generstion, he has nothing to prove he has an outstanding legacy, and an excellent resume. beating pavlik was a better result than beating joe because pavlik will go onto become a legend in the middleweight division.

    The majority of people believe that a 43 year old bernard hopkins beat calzaghe, if calzaghe wanted to prove something then he should take the fight, and beat hopkins comnprehensively, instead of saying that i'm not going to fight him because he is racist, that didn't stop joe taking the fight the first time so it is a bull**** excuse.

    Hopkins has bigger fights in America, a fight with chad dawson or jermaine taylor.

    I guess its settled then. calzaghe doesnt want hopkins, so theres no reason for hopkins to want calzaghe. I mean its not like hopkins needs him:rofl:rofl:rofl problem solved

    LOL Hopkins HAS NO fans. There were by far more ppl from Britain cheering for Calzaghe. Hopkins can't draw ****. His fight against another "big" US-Name did under 190K buys.
    CHad Dawson, cmon his biggest payday was the fight against Tarver earning 800k $.
    Calzaghe is the biggest draw by far. He is a legend in Wales, and can draw 75K ppl. He can make 10M $ based on the big live-gate. SO **** you

    My Top 5 Fighters from 1980 til now:

    1.Sugar Ray Leonard
    2.Pernell Whitaker
    3.Roy Jones Jr
    4.Julio Cesar Chavez
    4=Bernard Hopkins

    IMO, Calzaghe does indeed need Hopkins more than Hopkins needs him, as Calzaghe would be waaaaaaaay down that list.

    (*I haven't included guys like Duran and Arguello whose peaks were pre-1980)

    Calzaghe doesn't need him at all. Any small chance of Hopkins getting a rematch were gone with his complete lack of respect before, during and after the fight. The guy is a legend in boxing but he is a *****.

    Jones showed Hopkins how to act like a gentleman and if Saturday's fight was close at the end he would have got a rematch.

    Joe beat him get over it.

    No ****ing way does Joe need Hopkins more than the other way around, check to see who has the L from the first fight on their record.


    Yes dont you remember that Hopkins vs Hakkar fight that 50 people actually went to see it live in PHILLY!!!!
