It looks like JC vs Hopkins is the most talked about match up but apart from mega money why should Calzaghe take the fight? A loss would make him look a joke while even a great one sided victory would be percieved to be against an old boxer well past his prime. There must be better guys for Calzghe to enhance his reputation against, unless he knows he is almost done and just wants to pad out his pension. If he does take the Hopkins fight and wins will he go on to fight other shadows such as Roid jones and Tarver, maybe even glen johnson or will he fight the likes of very bad chad dawson. Whatever happens i hope he takes the one fight he is ducking and take on Woods. I would pick JC to win just but it is alot harder fight than the just about anyone stateside.
Great recognition for fighting Hopkins, plus a great name on the resume. Despite his age, Hopkins still knows how to win fights, and is a dangerous match to take.
