calzaghe no.1 p4p? ridiculous he hasn't done enough lately and now he's fighting a guy who we expect him to give a beatdown. old and shot jones..and isn't he retiring after jones, so imo after jones if marquez wins he definitely should be no.2 and calzaghe moved down to 3 whether or not he wins or lose to jones

If Calzaghe fights and beats Pvlik in 09, which I think will happen so long as Joe doesnt die in the ring with Roy Jones. Then he will deserve the number 1 and should retire on top, and no one can say ****.

you know what? you're right. he's not got a KO punch really. but he is fearless and fights anyone. i guess it's worth ti to say he's scared of pavlik just to make him want to fight him, cuz we all know that that is a fight that will bring the house down. (i say calzaghe wins, but not by KO.)

It won't matter because people on these forums will find a way to diminish that accomplishment. Most likely they'll underrate rate pavlik like they overrate Taylor since Kelly beat him. They already overlook the wins against Lacy and Kessler despite many people predicting those two to beat JC. What makes you think a Pavlik win would be any different?
