I think he should come back for financial purposes. He probably never made that much money fighting, no more than 5 or 6 million. I heard recently he had financial trouble so maybe he should think about coming back for a fight with Froch or some other intresting name. If he comes back and loses and makes 5 to 10 million pound in one night, he isn't really losing.

He needs to stay away, he's had a great career, some great wins, and a great looking record, he doesnt wanna ruin it by losing to somebody like Froch, god we'll never hear the end of it lol

But like I say, if he makes 5 million quid, he's not really losing weather he wins or not.

This doesn't make sense. If people regard him as the best thing since sliced bread how would a come back increase how they feel?:huh

I think his record means more to him than £5million quid. Although i'm going off how he came off before his tragic addiction to Talcum powder and baking soda.

i actually think hed have a bit to gain by coming back and taking a fight with say hopkins or froch, hed be pretty much guaranteed to win either and then go back into retirement again

jones jr was a **** ending to his career, same as hopkins actually if he ends with a stupid jones jr fight

In terms of ticking box's then yes. In terms of his career ledger its pretty much a joke. Anyway im glad he's not coming back. Boxing doesnt need him.

Forget about it. Joe cashed in his chips and rightly so from his standpoint. Theres no way he'd be able to command those type of purses if he ever made a comeback as no one cares. He's not big in the US and he'd have to promote himself if he fought in the UK. And we all know what a flop he is as a promoter.

he has retired so thats it. He would beat Froch or Hopkins but Froch lost to Kessler and is tied into the super 6 so that wouldn't happen or prove anything. There is only 1 fight and that would be Hopkins, according to Joe he couldn't get himself up for the first fight they had. It would be hard to get up for a rematch if he doesn't have the fire in the belly
