Why do people post this stuff - it's obviosly a joke, a wind up, but so unfunny. It seems to work though at getting a reaction...

It tends to turn many people who would be neutral toward Joe - against the guy though...

Pavlik was Ring p4p top ten champ, take it up with them.

Calz is clearly the top dog of the P4P charts (at least the 135+ lbs version). Pac, in the minds of many, dropped the fight to JMM and it wasn't too long ago that Williams lost to Quintana. Dawson had all he could handle with a 40 year old Johnson and fought an atrocious version of 39 year old Tony Tarver. Not the stuff of P4P contenders.

In 3 of his last five fights, Joe humiliated "Mini Tyson" Jeff Lacy, whipped previously unbeaten Mikkel Kessler and essentially shut-out Bernard Hopkins in the second half of their bout, a fight that Calzaghe moved up in weight to take, and a fight that 'won' him the Ring Magazine LHW championship.

Hopkins' dominating win over Pavlik only furthers Joe's grip on the top of the P4P charts.

I can see people putting Pac as #1 here but, at worst, Joe is #2 (at least for 135+ lbs; I haven't been keeping up on the lower-weight fighters).

Joe would take the 2 spot...Manny pac takes the number 1...You cant take Manny out of number 1 because a guy joe beats makes another guy look stupid...vernon beat a prime mosley but mayorga beat a prime vernon...but a washed up mosley beat mayorga...juss cuz 1 fighter beats another doesnt mean that fighter is any better than the other fighter...Manny pac is the best fighter in the world as of 10/20/2008 period

Sorry, the facts are what they are, as I'm sure you've read in the oft-cited ESB article on the subject. Dawson fears Diaconu, and there is no way around that reality. He also seems to fear non-geriatric fighters as well these days.

It's only a matter of time, just like with Haye. Showtime will try to protect Sad Chad, but they can't hide him or his glass chin forever.

    I fully agree.

People can argue no end, at the end of the day there is no correct answer. In a way I think the arguing just downplays boxers achievments.

    joe cal is number 1
    pac is number 2
    bhop is number 3

now when oscar ko's pac, pac will have to go down to atleast number 5 and hopkins at number 2 !

you guys can argue all u want about joe and pac, whos number 1.but i think its joe and when oscar puts pac to bed then you will know it as well.now if rjj can beat joe cal then pac is number one !

    1joe
    2pac
    3bhop

all i know is bhop will be number 2 when oscar beats pac, and joe will be number 1 unless he losses to roy.

Oscar will expose that Pac is indeed too small for him.

I had Joe winning the fight against Bhop just by the virtue that Bhop is too old to fight against someone who is good.
