    Light heavyweight Joe Calzaghe may return to the ring next year in front of his hometown fans in Wales, but it doesn't sound like a rematch with Bernard Hopkins is high on his list. "Screw Hopkins, man," he told the London Mirror. "He got his a*** kicked by a white boy. He's got to accept that. He's an idiot. A complete a*******. I don't want to give him a rematch. It wouldn't be a good fight. The guy's a racist. He was never going to give me any credit. The way he fought against me in Las Vegas was cowardly because he held on all night and feigned being hit by low blows. He tried to steal the fight."     Old news. And don't think it's Calzaghe making excuses. He's just publicly crapping on a guy who did the same to him before they fought.

    No its true Bernard Hopkins is nothing more than a muppet who could not beat Calzaghe.

    All though I would like to see number 2 so joe can beat him again.

    If not hopkins than who? What would be the best way to go out? I think Dawson could very well be too much youth, power, and size for him.

    well its obvious he knew he lost and if bhop had lost to pavlik he would jump on this but since he saw what bhop did to kelly he is down right scared because he knows bhop will take his 0

    I just think he knows not giving bernard a rematch will hurt Hopkins more than even beating him again.

    yall musta forgot that bernard needed several lengthy breathers just to make it through to the end ?

    It almost sounds to me as if the talking for a rematch is actuall already under way.

    This could very well be a ploy for leverage in negotiations. Calzaghe belittling Hopkins, saying there ain't gonna be no rematch, I'm gonna fight Dawson, or retire, etc...

    This almost sounds like the hype has begun for the negotiation process.

    Although, perhaps this is just wishful thinking on my part.

    What a dip****. He talks a lot of **** against Hopkins, but won't fight him? What kind of **** is that. If he's not going to fight Hopkins why is he talking ****?

    Hopkins acted like a silly ***** prior to the fight with Calzaghe. Calzaghe acted with dignity in their trash talk session but just responding "but, if you fight me you will lose."Hopkins showed what a racist turd he is. From a technical analysis he, hopkins, deserves his hof status, but he is a turd. He lost the fight with Calzaghe. Calzaghe does not want to honor the turd with a rematch.there is no marketability in it and nothing to win. Hopkins won against Pavlik because he made a stupid decision to fight while sick. the fact is that he beat Pavlik no matter what else was in the background. He would not be Calzaghe unless Calzaghe was in an old foks home and on a ventilator and Hopkins is a stupid, arrogant, racist *****. Live with it.
