    It won't be ignored.

People like you still give him credit for beating Jirov and Barkley. Anything else you want to add?, educate us, we are all newbies.

What else?, oh right, sorry forgot. He trash talked about Roy Jones, Tarver, Johnson, Hopkins, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Eubank, Benn while all those guys were adding more and more titles on their resume in mega fights breaking PPV numbers while he was sitting in Burger King getting praises from you for being a good comedian in two minute youtube videos.

it still takes balls for a natural SMW/LHW to face natural HWs, regardless of the reason why he moved up in the first place.
Calzaghe would never have faced someone like Hasim Rahman or Sam Peter. I know he never had to, and therefore can't be blamed for it. No fighter can be blamed for not fighting outside his natural weight class.
But Toney did, and he should get credit for it. He could as well just have retired in 2003. Many think he should have retired, since his HW campaign didn't go as planned, but hey at least he had the balls to try.

Agreed - and much as I admire Toney 2 failed drug tests = CHEAT = HOF bar in my opinion.

If not sport means nothing - juice em up and let em go

ah c'mon, you know perfectly well that Toney did much more than just beat Jirov and Barkley. You just don't want to acknowledge it since you don't like the man. That's ok. But we both know that his career prior to moving up to the HW division, while having some blemishes, still is deserving of a HOFer status.

Toney vs sliverback gorilla? - assuming the gorilla goes through with contest when Toney fails to make the agreed weight of 400lbs

Battles of the big mouths Calzaghe v Toney,Calzaghe loses there, also loses in his boxing accomplishments.Prime Roy Jones that Toney lost to was way better than Kessler and certainly Jeff Lacy,Calzaghes two best wins.

I think we can safely ignore the views of anyone who considers Jeff Lacy a tougher opponent that Bernard Hopkins.

Toney was good at middle but a ko of Nunn and 2 close calls against an old Mccallum dont make it definate,id say Joe and Toney have equal cases.Toney v Barkley means nothing as Iran was past it and had sight problems,it was hardly a fair fight.Im sure he beat other good fighters but Joe took on some good fighters as well.Forget guys like Pudwill and Manfreado. He fought some good ones Ried,Brewer,Kessler,Hopkins,Lacy and Eubank.Jones i dont count as it was way too late.Roy would have played with Joe in his prime and may even have finished what he started in the 1st
