Dip**** :patsch, Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins were all considered legit world champs and the 116-111 score against Hopkins was the widest score posted against Hopkins ever .

Robert, you do make a habit of putting your foot in it :patsch:yep

That video of Joes vicious brutal stoppages is amazing

I guess the real question now is , did Joe ever KO somebody for the 10 count ?

Jeff Lacy was the very first beltholder that Joe fought , first guy he ever fought that actually held a current title.

Calzaghe was a one weight champ and IMO is the greatest SMW of all time the guy can definitely be proud of his achievements.

If Lacy was 2nd rate why did 95% of posters on here, mainly Yanks, predicting a Lacy victory.

Hopkins "Reign" mainly IBF,a legit sanctioning body, consisted of him fighting shite opposition. It adds up to Hopkins being a fraud.

I can't speak for them, but I can imagine it's probably because, up until then, they thought Calzaghe was 3rd rate based on his level of competition.

Which says what about Calzaghe, considering Hopkins is one of his two best wins......at the age of 43.............?

Funny how the Yanks never rated Hopkins 3rd rate based on HIS competiton. Pity Hopkins bottled out of fighting Calzaghe when he was 37. :hi:

Hopkins did turn down a fight with Calzaghe as a spry 37 year old but Hopkins competition wasn't 3rd rate.........either way, what does that have to do with Calzaghe's weak competition?

Good job they have experienced refs there they make sure you leave healthily :yep
