To be honest I did feel I wronged thats why you will see I edited my post before you replied to it only thinking that you was trying to disrespect my origins by mentioning "when did your family come over from Moenchengladbach"

But then realised you was talking about germans so I edited my post.

But your neck of the woods is full of glassjawed sheep shaggers like Enzo Mac which I would be very afraid off. I heard two welsh men in hoodies paid 10p less in the corner shop and ran off. Real dangerous neck of woods you from.

I tell you what is a joke, You at 4:57 PM wave goodbye as a form of retreat after realising you messed with the wrong guy.

Then at 4:58 despite you already waved goodbye, you return.

You just upset that England whooped you lot in the ashes.

Exactly, born in the UK and not white according to what he says ?

Has he got a Welsh name like Williams, Lewis, Jones or Hopkins I wonder ?, it could explain a lot.

Why should Calzaghe have given Hopkins a rematch, Hopkins denied Calzaghe a fight years ago. YOU & Hopkins have to live with that loss.
As for Jones he was so shot that YOU ADMITTED THAT YOU PICKED JONES TO WIN along with many others, and Jones was a suitable opponent for Hopkins around 2 years later

What has my race, or my nationality got to do with anything?

What else happens in ur "neck of the woods" filled with glass jaws like Enzo Macrenelli. I heard the national criminal organisation did an ocean 11 style attack on the same corner shop owner where they got away with 2 tangy tom crisp packets and a pack of benson and hedges.

I said Calzaghe didnt want the rematch. This to me indicates Calzaghe was scared.

This is my official prediction of Roy Jones Jr vs Joe Calzaghe

Hopkins didnt retire on RJJ, but Calzaghe did. Also Hopkins had been calling out RJJ since 2000.

Calzaghe retired on a shot jones jr. Hopkins didnt.

Are you black and do you have a Welsh surname ?, it could have everything to do with your dislike of Welsh boxers.

What difference does it make if Hopkins retired after fighting Jones? None. Hopkins avoided Jones and only fought him after Calzaghe beat him and Green beat him by 1st round KO. Hopkins wouldnt fight him before.
Hopkins must have been the scared one as he wouldnt fight Calzaghe until it was a new weight for Calzaghe in America with 3 American judges and Cortez as ref and Hopkins wouldnt fight Calzaghe years before. That was scared when you have a fighter pulling out from a fantastic payday to fight a lesser fighter for far less money. Still I seem to remember you saying Hopkins was shot, so what benefit would it have been for Calzaghe to beat what you would consider another shot fighter.
Hopkins was also scared to rematch Jones years before also.

You and Hopkins will just have to live with the loss

Hopkins still trying to win a title in that division, he feels he has unfinished business, not a ***** move like Calzaghe.

Hopkins fought a prime RJJ and lost, what you talking about.

    Also Hopkins didnt say:-

But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown jewels I wouldn't want to risk it

    Calzaghe did say it.

Hopkins called out RJJ, but they disputed 60 - 40, while Calzaghe an unknown whose best win was a past his best Eubank at the time said he wants the crown jewels.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJbOw_5DPiE[/ame]

Hopkins fought Tarver, Pavlik, Taylor, and Pascal all at an old age. An effort that Calzaghe has never tried.

Hopkins also asked for a rematch, and Calzaghe refused in Cardiff, Calzaghe didnt want to be embarresed in his hometown.

Hopkins and Don king didnt get along, and Don King was making these fights. Hopkins didnt get that pay day but 2 fights later gets paid 10 million more than Calzaghe has made in his career.

I said Hopkins was past prime, and never said he was shot.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJbOw_5DPiE[/ame]

Exactly, but the fact that Calzaghe didnt want a rematch in his hometown to clear up the SD controversy still will remain there.

Calzaghe had nothing to prove, he beat Hopkins in the States, why rematch him, Calzaghe had unfinished business with Roy Jones and wanted to retire, it made no sense to rematch Hopkins after Calzaghe got the job done, Calzaghe didnt even like him and after his 'i'll never lose to a white boy' remark, why should Calzaghe have anything to do with him especially considering that Calzaghe won.

You should not use the term 'owned' when talking about African American boxers with Welsh names, in this case Hopkins and Jones fighting a Welshman, do you know why so many African Americans have Welsh names ?

Lets just say Calzaghe had Hopkins and Jones number in the ring.

The direction this thread has gone sucks. No need for that bull****.

So, I'll repost this. It's a much better discussion piece.

5 out 21 is not good.

Hopkins had more than 50% world title fights with top 10 ranked fighters
