    A fail from you which is not so much epic as careless and predictable.

    This thread is a response to someone who made a thread yesterday called "Joe Calzaghe only fought bums in his WBO title? OFFICIAL BREAKDOWN", and then only mentioned a handful of his better opponents. I took the title to do what he promised but do it properly. And if you notice the question mark in the title, then actually read the bold part I wrote near the start, you will see that I say NO he didn't only fight bums, but that there were certainly some bums in there, and wrote my evidence for calling them bums in the main part of the thread-start.

    Cheers. The guy's post is rife with other errors -

    David Starie was world class (he never won even ONE single world title fight in his entire career, so explain that one to me)

    Sheika was the "original" Contender (he didn't appear in or win season 1, buy that boy a dictionary)

    But hey, let him type on in blissful ignorance.

    The heaviest Mkrchtian ever weighed in his career was 180lbs. The heaviest an opponent of his ever weighed was 186 3/4lbs - and this was in his pro debut against a guy who was also in his pro debut. FACT

    The vast majority of his fights have been at 168lbs. FACT

    The heavyweight limit is 200+lbs. FACT

    So a youtube video of him knocking out some journeyman nobody who probably weighed 170-175lbs proves absolutely nothing.

    Calzaghe is every bit as much a great as Hopkins.

    We don't get countless threads attacking him though.

    Calzaghe is a joke, when you examine his resume, there is no way in hell anyone can call him a respected champion or a world class fighter. He lost to 42 year old Hopkins as far as I'm concerned, he and his pops both know that in their heart.

    **** off you clown. Pac and I work from the same department, so we often log on in the library at the same time. He is on here much more than me mind you, the lazy *******. I get bored with the neverending BS I read on here, small doses for me. Posts like yours are a prime example of this.

    On the subject of the thread, I accept that everything Pac says is true, but I believe that this could be done about most peoples' records, so it doesn't mean that much to me. Joe doesn't have a great resume, he has a good one. But he's a great fighter. Over and out

    Nope Lacy got beat by Calzaghe, but that ain't really saying much. I mean who in the hell is Jeff Lacy, who has he beaten, did he fight high level competition? Nope. Jeff Lacy was a name and hype, just like Joe C is today.

    As for Calzaghe vs. Hopkins, no objective person could have Joe C winning that fight. That fight will go down in history as a robbery.
