    Ha!
You can't even see the irony in that, can you? You really can't...tremendous. This thread deserves to be stickied. The pure schoolyard-level paranoid reactions alone are priceless.

Bute? Is this a joke. He aint fit to be in the same ring as Calzaghe, unless he is mopping the water from the floor.

Another shockingly shite Calzaghe thread. If you seriously think slapping around the corpse of Roy Jones is of any value, you know nothing about boxing.

Funnily enough he was right on that point....I don't have the exact timelines so I might be wrong but I think Calslappy was actually signed to fight Johnson and pussied out with a 'bad back' which recovered miraculously so he could fight yet another WBO bum instead, but he promised that Johnson was on his agenda and would be fighting him. In the meantime Johnson KO'd Jones and things went very quiet on the Calslappy front until he announced he couldn't fight Glen due to his extremely painful divorce

I might not be 100% on that but that's how I remember it...and some of these fools actually believe that Hopkins ducked Calslappy back in those days :patsch

I made a simple comparrison, and unlike what you haters post, it's a fact-******
Now that we're on the subject, what do YOU think of dawson at 26 fighting a 39 and 40 year old, and now calling out a past prime joe, and a 43 yearold Hopkins??

You just can't buy a ****in clue can you?

How can you compare Dawson fighting older guys to Calzaghe fighting older guys? They're at two different points in their careers. Dawson's career is rising and he is still a bit inexperienced against elite level opposition. He will only get better from fighting crafty veteran guys like Johnson, Tarver, and Hopkins. Meanwhile, Calzaghe is at the tail end of his career. He should only be fighting the very best at this point. A shotass Roy Jones is not the very best.
