So in other words, no poster you called hater EVER gave Joe credit once. :patsch Dude...you are owned by people you called hater regardless of if you believe that. They own you and you allow them to. WTF do you care what people you call haters think anyway? Do you plan to convert every single one?

As for Lacy, are people not allowed to re-think what they thought of him? Does one have to believe he's great for the rest of their life just because they thought he was at one point?

I thought Lacy was pretty good. And I can admit to thinking he would win. But not because LAcy was a GOD as you say, but more so because I didn't think Calzaghe was looking all that great before the fight. But I can also racall how average Lacy looked before the Calzaghe fight as well. But he has a helluva punch and Calzaghe has been known to mix it up too much.

Anyway, you seem to want to think Lacy was a beast now more then ever. You probably didn't think much of him before the calzaghe fight, just judging from your history. So you upgrade Lacy as opposed to those who downgrade him. Well, Lacy's performances tells us whether he's got the goods or not. You can judge him for yourself.

I just wanted to see to what level people forget Kessler, Lacy, Reid, Sheika, Bika as young championship level fighters that Calzaghe beat easily when you only mention the two old dogs he beat.

It's quite funny how he gets no credit for beating Hopkins (85% of those polled said he did) when Hopkins turned around and beat the **** out of the guy every American (except me) said would beat Calzaghe.

    Now it's Dawson

Like I think someone said 2 years ago, Calzaghe can keep beating people all he wants, people are always going to say he's **** because he's British and they don't know the names of the fighters he built himself up on.

He beats Dawson, just another green fighter people will forget. He takes a hard money fight against Hopkins and wins, people want to claim differently and then instead of bashing Pavlik for losing to Hopkins, people STILL try to make out that Hopkins isn't a good win for Calzaghe.

You're all ****ing clowns. No one has remained undefeated fighting til 37 at championship level. No one. Except, Joe Calzaghe.

Well when you title a thread in a way that specifically addresses the two old dogs he beat people are gonna respond with their opinions on it... I'm not gonna take anything away from Calzaghe (except his victory over Jones which means squat), but as far as beating young, championship level contenders goes... Hopkins and Jones Jr have those qualifications in spades! Hell, I don't think Calzaghe has anything that matches the comprehensive ownage Jones Jr put over Toney, who was a genuinely strong, dominant champion...

I give him massive credit for beating B-Hop... If anything B-Hop's recent victory over Pavlik put Joe's win it into greater context. I just think it's funny how all the Calzaghe leg-humpers call B-Hop a boring fighter when Calzaghe at his ripe age is becoming just as much of an accumulator of points/UD master a B-Hop is... He just seems to get knocked onto his arse a bit more!

no your creating that illusion yourself to satisfy your own opinion and arguments. You cannot have a resume as weak as calzaghes and expect to be immune to criticism even floyd mayweather receives criticism from americans because they deem him to be ducking or to have ducked big fights so nationality is not an issue

That's because most of them fight better competition that the candlestick makers and bartenders that Calslappy has been fighting for the last 20 years.

Is there better competition than Kessler and Hopkins between 160-175? Dawson lost to Johnson and got a gift, he's been invalidated.

And a career of beating a number of high quality championship contenders/former contenders that American's dont' know the name of proves nothing except how ignorant Americans are.
