Come on, Hopkins is done ? That guy is a machine. He just smoked Pavlik who is 15 years younger than him and was the uncontested 160 lbs king. I don't know many "done" man who can accomplish this...

Hopkins is an awesome boxer, but Calzaghe was slightly better than him. Enough said...

You act as if he defeated them both in their primes.. While Hopkins still has a little left, he's far from his prime and RJJ should have been retired years ago..

Do you think Hopkins looked done when he took Pavlik to school?

Cal beating Hop was a good win. Cal beating Roy was a no credit win. None of these guys were in their prime when they fought, so that is what is lovely about debating. I think prime Jones beats both Cal and Hop, but Cal would always give both guys trouble in their prime.

That is correct, and Hopkins looked the best you'll ever see a 40 plus year old as far as conditioned goes

A lot of boxing fans believe it's shallow win because of obvious reasons.

The hopkins that calz beat is just a fraction of his old self. C'mon man you think the Hopkins of 43 yrs old is the same as the hopkins 10 to 13 yrs ago?!

The rjj that calz beat is not the rjj of the early 2000's or late nineties.

A win is a win but lets not forget that they are in their twilight years when calz won the fight.

I'm not a calz hater. I'll still give credit for the 46-0 record! but giving calz FULL CREDIT over the two wins mentioned is not appropriate IMO!

If somebody beats PAC when pac is ALREADY 38yrs or worse 43 yrs old. Will you give credit?!

All I can say is a win is a win! :D

That's the main reason that Joe signed on to fight Jones in the first place.

Roy Jones was a Glass Jawed media creation by HBO who they let handpick opponent after opponent. His whole career was nothing but smoke and mirrors.
