One guys gave him a fight, and the other was past his prime. While it looks good on his resume, history knows the deal with this outlook by you. Had the fought when they were all 25-30, we could've had classics. Cal came along after Jones left 168, and Hop stayed at 160. Cal barely beat Hop.

Well then Foreman beat Frazier in 2, Ali took 15 rds to do it, so let's see......
15 divided by 2 = 7 1/2 So Foreman is 7 1/2 better than Ali....Quarry beat Shavers in ONE rd, so Quarry is FIFTEEN times better than Ali:lol::lol::lol:

When Hopkins and Roy are 70 years old, I shall challenge them to a fight and knock them out in 1 round. Then I will go on bragging about how I beat them both (but fail to mention how old and over the hill they were and how meaningless those wins were)

Calzaghe beat on old Roy Jones. Not to sat that Calzaghe would beat Jones in his prime, but we will never know, so I am not counting this victory as one of his greatest conquests. Hopkins may not be in his prime, but he is still a very good boxer, and I will give Calzaghe credit for this win, but more credit if this happened a few years earlier.

Ali beat Frazier in 14 rounds in Manilla.

How many rounds did it take Lacy to dispose of Reid? How many times better than Calslappy does that make Lacy then :think

Let's also not forget that Trinidad went 12 rounds before he was knocked down by Hopkins, Joe was knocked down in the first so Trinidad is 12 times better than Calslappy presumably? How far do you want to take this?

Except to anyone watching apart from the judges, it was a loss. Hopkins has suffered from a few political decisions in his time and this was the worst.

Close but clear win for Calzaghe. Wasnt even remotely controversial, no outcry for rematch except from Hop himself and on forums such as these from haters. Lewis/Holyfield etc are outrages descisions that got the outcry it warrented, Calz/Hop doesnt even come close.
