Hamed's legacy amounts to getting undressed and humiliated by Barrera and then quitting the sport

Joe. The Kessler & Hopkins wins alone place him above Hamed.

....and unifying the divison, and beating eight world champs, and winning 3 world titles, and establishing lineage, and earning £30 million, and headling MSG, and being Britain's youngest ever world champion...

No point just selectively choosing one part of his career or legacy is there? No one is going to buy this 'it's all bad' nonsense.

The Kessler win is only comprable to Hamed's win over Bungu. The Hopkins win is what seperates them, in terms of in-ring achivement.

Calzaghe got a SD against the one great fighter he fought, and Hamed lost to the one great fighter that he fought.

Outside of the UK that is all anybody remembers him for. He is viewed as an overhyped fraud who got exposed and who showed he had no heart by not even trying to carry on. It may not be fair, but it's the way most people see him

I think what you actually mean is 'in America, that is how he's viewed'. But yeah, I see your point.

Hamed lost to a Great fighter @ his peak.

Joe never faced one Top guy @ his peak.

Hamed wins at Feather are better than Joes wins at supermiddle.

Joe was only regarded the Nr: 1 in his division from 2005.

Hamed was Nr:1 for 5+ years.

Hamed fought in the US 5-6 times.

Hamed Kod his former champs/current. did it in better style.

CALZAGHES WIN OVER HOPKINS (even though past prime) seperates them.

Places Joe ahead, though I think Hamed was far more talented and less reluctant than Joe.

hamed was a cool guy, unique fighter with a good sense of humor

calzaghe was a dick who embarrassed himself whenever he tried to be cool, just an embarrassment in general

hamed did funny stunts and jumped around before he fought prime fighters, and unified titles and lost to a prime legend.

Joe at the pinnacle of his career defended an unknow title and jumped around and whooped with joy on beating ex legends after having waited for them to age to 40something first.
