That comparing a fighter's legacy and that of a poster, has no bearing on any conversation whatsoever.

It's so easy to pick on a fighter when they haven't accomplished half of what that fighter has accomplished.

Absoutely, in terms of mainstream crossover appeal, fame & popularity, Naz was an exceptional success story. Calzaghe simply doesn't compare, in these areas at least.

Naz is a bum, and a convict, all he was decent at is self PR, I was delighted when he finally took a fight against a half decent boxer and was obliterated Jeff Lacey style.

He shouldn't be mentioned in Joe's league, Joe at the same size would beat up on Naz worse than even Barrera did.

People just remember Naz for the person he was, not the fighter. The guy's resume is not bad at all.

I agree that in some ways Naz and Calzaghe are in different leagues. For example, at the age of 23, Naz was challenging for his second world title against Boom-Boom Johnson, and then facing Kevin Kelley at Madison Square Garden, while Joe Calzaghe was the 'Tom Jones of the Cardiff Ice Ring' defending a lightly regarded title against such immense talents as Tocker Pudwill and Rick Thornberry.

Amazing what having lesser ability but being black and a muslim can do for ones career, now if only Calzaghe was a Black Muslim American, everyone would give him the respect he deserves.

Got him lots of fights for a fighter of limited ability though, no wonder Cassius converted, the best stunt he could have pulled, were he not Muslim, he would never be touted around like he is today.

I don't see how it helps.

Eddie Mustapha Muhammad has written an article about all the prejudice he's been victim to for being a Muslim.

...and many American's began to cheer Lewis when he was facing Hasim at least in the rematch (a Muslim post 911).

Really? a muslim writting a sob story about his barbaric religion? I am shocked.

Poor Rahman, wearing the ''Black Muslim'' badge as his excuse for being held back... sigh.

Lucky the Jewish community don't mope around whinging about how unfair life is to them isn't it!

Calzaghe has my respect. Doesn't mean that I'm not going to point out that he did **** all of note for the majority of his career.

It's really his fault Toney, Jones, Collins, Hopkins, Johnson et all ducked him during his prime years.... come on, hes the most ducked boxer in history, how he achieved the level of success he has is testoment to him.
