Calzaghe is an amazing talent. But, just like floyd, his talent is wasted fighting boxers he could easily beat, rather than taking bigger challenges.

It is an easy excuse to say Calzaghe was "the most ducked boxer in history" and I know that deep down you don't actually believe that ****. And the fact is, whether he was ducked or not, he just didn't fight anyone of note for too long a period of time. It seems like he made zero effort to call people out, to chase the big fights or to get himself a passport. Yes, Calzaghe is a good fighter, a skilled fighter who has had a goodcareer overall, but nothing more than that, and I think that is how he will be remembered in boxing history.

If people are scared to fight him, they just wont fight him, as we seen, so if you're dissappointed by this, imagine how Joe feels, when he knows he would thrash any of those chumps within an inch of their life, his legacey would be heralded as the greatest! so spare a thought for Joe.

I'm fairly sure that Joe Calzaghe considers himself the greatest fighter there has ever been, and believes that he has the strongest resume of any fighter since Ali. Doesn't bother me that he didn't fight anyone of note (except Kessler) in their primes, just don't expect me to give him credit for things he didn't do.

It was an act with Naz, although I think with Floyd it is very much for real.

Naz's career was unfinished, due to bad luck. But, it still doesn't say what type of fighter he was. One of the best. I still think he would of won other titles if it wasn't for his bad boy ways. Forgive me for sounding like a nut-hugger.:D:lol:

I, personally, don't like him, floyd. I've seen some of his videos on the net with other rappers. And, yes, he still is a *****, even in them.:good

That was one of the issues I think, Hamed had unified the featherweight division, won all the titles, what was there left to do for him? win them all again? That was definetly a factor in his lack of motivation towards the end of his career. I don't think his career was unfinished, it could have better and longer and I would have prefered for him not to stop so young, but you have to respect the mans decision, and overall it was still a great career, in which he earned a lot of money and gained a lot of fans.

Absolutely, with Naz it was all an act, and I don't think he ever crossed the line. Floyd posts videos online about Hatton and Oscar being "bums" that stuff is just a bad reflection on him as a person.

To me, Naz seemed unprepared for Barrera. A lot of people define his career by that fight.
One loss does not define a man's entire career. I'm sure Naz dreams of what could of been if he was given a second chance to redeem himself.
