calzaghe, atleast taylor knows how to throw a correct punch. Joe slapped 99% of his punches its really pethetic to watch him fight.

Amazing how these guys can never walk through slaps isn't it.

i would say Taylor looked less impressive in his first fight with Bhop mainly because of the meltdown he had in the Championship rounds, but other than that i think Taylor looked more impressive agaisnt Hopkins than Calzaghe because he was actually able 2 outpower Hopkins with his strength and athleticism while Calzaghe basically outworked him with volume punching. But just to make my self clear, just because Taylor looked more impressive doesnt really mean he fought the better fight, i agree with Pharaoh when he said that Taylor has the perfect style to beat Hopkins, making Calzaghes perfomance a higher skilled one.

No, a LOT more. Watch the fight again. If Calzaghe hadn't adapted he'd have ended up on the canvas for good. He started moving laterally, stood back and fought from the outside. People want to say that it was a victory purely based on punch output because it somehow denies Calzage the victory. Calzaghe won on output, yes, but most importantly on his ability to adapt to Hopkins' style and frustrate him. Hopkins was frustrated. Period. And it wasn't due to a multitude of slaps.

I remember him succesfully doing that against Kessler but not so much against Hopkins, who didn't really let him do that and kept the fight at pretty close quarters. If you're right then credit to you but there is no way in hell i am gonna watch the fight again.

The only thing I figured out is that you have Calzaghe's balls resting firmly on your chin.

That being the case, Taylor still lost. Just as he did against Winky-Wright, and that embarrasing performance he put up against Spinks.
