*lol* - uncanny - croissant in the post for ya. :D

Shame about the Man Utd fans. Hope they're ok out there.

Loon? Nah... over-excitable, maybe. ;) It's one of those situations that someone outside the US (certainly not me) could provide better insight on, as I'm of the mind that a resume; whilst being useful, just doesn't sum up the qualities of a fighter. Both of them have/had serious talent, and as someone said prior, Joe's ability to adapt is unsurpassable - and certainly one talent that can turn a loss into a win, and make a good fighter, great.

Wanna croissant? Got some pain au chocolate if you're fussy... ;)

Best to stop with the spelling police malarky, as you never know if they are dyslexic. Some people don't want to admit they are (it's their right), but you'll feel a right twat if they really are. :)

I've seen a lot of JC's fights...and he doesn't seem to change his style SOOOOOOO much. Now, that may just be me, but I see him as a come forward, fast moving, mile a minute puncher with good power, a seemingly decent chin, always in great shape, and a good head on his shoulders.

However, I never saw him actually demonstrate true GREATNESS in the ring. Also, I must admit I thought Lacy was so terribly overrated, that I was one of the few Americans who actually had JC schooling him (I'd seen a lot of JC's fights before).

I just don't see anything that would be something NEW for Toney, that he couldn't overcome. However, I do think that Toney's style would be new for JC. Besides, and this hasn't been mentioned yet, JC could in no way bully Toney around. If he can't bully or hurt Toney, I could not see his skill outduel Toney.

Your buddy isn't dyslexic, he's just dumb. Native stupidity is an affliction that harms many people. You're right, I should've been more gentle on him. I will now in the future.

Seriously man, you are really really sad.

By the way, someone who got straight A's at school & is currently in his BA year at university doing his 14,000 word dissertation after again gaining straight A's and some B's through the first two years, and last year turned down a £30,000 a year starting salary job at a management firm to stay on at university, is not someone who is 'dumb'.

You need to get a grip, two or three slips of the keyboard & you latch on like a leech. It's sad.

    I disagree.

The only fight were Toney was "outworked" was RJ. Even against RJ Toney was in the fight until the last round. Jirov pressured Toney more than RJ - more than any other fighter he faced - however Toney always had an answer for Jirov. Nobody has "outboxed" Toney till this day. I wouldn't suspect Calzaghe to be the one to do it.

Ahhh, you spelled that right. But, you got responsiveness wrong. Maybe 4 letters is your limit in capability. It's ok. I am sure you'll rise up and be a great success one day :happy

Costs nothing, and you'll find the keys on your keyboard won't wear out as fast, or as boyd is finding out, it breaks your keyboard. :D

I know what you mean about Joe not hurting Toney, but I'd maintain that anyone that fought Eubank will never be shocked by new tactics.

WOW. I'm impressed. Do you always try to brag to people online?

Haha. By the way, I am absolutely 100% not at all impressed. I'm glad you like online fighting, but I could care less about your grades. Congrats though on the job offer!:thumbsup

If you ever want a job in the New York metropolitan area in the US, let me know. :hi:

Good point as well. The thing is, has Calzaghe ever been pushed around in a fight? Has he ever been OBVIOUSLY the weaker man?

If not, I could see that as making a big difference as well.
