He's wrong on this one though BB.There was nothing disparaging or disrespectful in what Joe said.
Oscar is one of the top guys of his generation, but now he's a part timer with little desire, beyong GBP, left.
    Where is Joe wrong here?

Yea come on, quit making something out of that. Calzaghe was saying the same thing everyone else has been saying, Oscars heart isnt in the fight, hes a part time fighter. He showed his respect to him, he just stated facts.

I don't think what Joe said there is all that bad at all. I was wondering though is he just a little bitter, hence the recent outburts, that he didnt get made p4p no1...

"I fought Roy Jones Jr., the one time pound-for-pound best fighter of the world, even though he was coming back to the ring after some bad luck, there should have been more acknowledgement from the boxing community."

    but then again maybe not...

He's speaking the truth - DLH hasn't been a serious/fulltime boxer for a few years now...I don't see where he actually says "DLH is not a real fighter"...he acknowledges that he was a great fighter but isn't anymore.

Yeah majority rules here, Calzaghe spoke the truth.

I admire ODLH for all the great years he gave us, but he was a part timer and paid the ultimate price. Still one of my fave fighters along with JC

this coming from the **** who spent years fighting bums over his WBO belt, then took on old Hopkins and shot Jones.....Calzaghe is a joke.

he's right here though, apart from that DLH was never a great fighter....world class yes, all time great?? No chance. Overrated and lost almost all of his big fights. Gifts against Pernell and Sturm. He's been a celebrity boxer, and is damaging the sport. Hopefully he was humiliated enough by the Pacman beating to **** off for good.
