I think that **** only happens in the US (Kermit Cintron).

The ultimate defensive wizard vs. the busiest offensive master. I always wanted to see this. Of course I have to favor Calzaghe here, even in Germany, where he beat Veit. Even if Ottke lands some crisp counters, Calzaghe is coming all night. Now imagine him vs. someone with no power, Calzaghe would be all over him, throwing like 600 jabs and 600 power punches. Or 6000. You can't bulldoze Ottke, but Calzaghe happens to have a very good quick jab, slick movement, punches from all angles and adaptability to nullify the Sven's effective returns. Wide UD. Although Ottke looked probably the best in his last fight, seemingly stronger than before (did he take something?) and unusally aggressive, so he lives up to the challenge. Do not think Calzaghe would've stopped him or anything. It just happens that his style is horrible to Ottke.

And what if Ottke had Roger Tilleman (from the Reid fight) as ref?

    Calzaghe would be ****ed.

It would be one of the worst fights ever, and probably end in a draw.Judges have shown they dont like going against either of these two masters of the 12 round bore. Its not a fight id be over bothered about watching.

Yet you pipe up like a broken record about the much less appealing Ottke-Reid fight which you must have watched.

Brewer lost on points, he wasn't stopped, the ref was American and he didn't dive in. Thats an epic fail mate!

I`m no Calzaghe fan but Manfredo the tv boxer was ludicrously out of his depth. Calzaghe agreed to fight only to get tv exposure in America, why the **** Manfredo was in that fight is a mystery. The fight was stopped a bit early but Calzaghe would`ve smashed the **** out of him.

Calzaghe was confident he would knock ottke out and back at that time i would believe him cos he had the punching power to stop ottke if a washed up reid could drop the twat. Reid in his prime was beaten by Calzaghe, and if Ottke-Calzaghe happened in America for fair play, everyone knows who would win. Besides Calzaghe did more than ottke in his career. Ottke won the 2 super middle titles and calzaghe won 5 plus 1 at light heavy.
