Kessler was suffering from well documented back problems at the time of that fight and still handled Mundine very effectively.

 

i'd also expect calzaghe, bute and froch to handle the glass jawed aussie with ease.

how does that prove the conjectural statement that kessler will buckle under pressure?

 

i'm simply pointing out that kessler looked uncomfortable being swarmed by a fairly timid, and very average boxer in mundine, when someone of the aggression and skill of calzaghe does the same it could create new levels of trouble for kessler.

 

I agree, but to discredit Mikkel based on that performance is wrong, especially since he just **** pounded a pure pressure fighter with relative ease.

 

I think it goes without saying that Joe will present more problems than Mikkel's even seen, by a good breadth. I'm not at all willing to say it's a foregone conclusion that he won't be able to handle it, though.

 

those weren't my intentions, it was a good performance a long way from home, with the exception of that one little possible weakness being exposed.

People saying it is impossible for someone boxing 12 rounds to land 2000 punches are right, but this will not be boxing as anyone of you know it
